Description
An axe that functions so perfectly its design has been unchanged for centuries. The picture show one of these axes being use to fix a purlin during the rebuilding of Paris in the 15th century. However this 2lb / 900gm axe was made by Leborgne in the 20th century from modern high quality steel. The edge is very sharp and ready for use. The hickory handle is cross hatched for improved comfort and grip.
