Diecast Model Triumph Spitfire Mk3 - Collectable Vanguards 1:43

Pre-owned 1:43 scale model from Lledo Vanguards of a Mk3 Triumph Spitfire being sold from my personal model collection.

* Model comes with two detachable Red hoods, one folded and one erect. Hood packed separately in the box.
* 2002 Lledo Collectibles issue. Limited Edition No 2,076 of 5,800.
* Model had the wing mirrors fitted by me.
* The Mark 3, introduced in March 1967, was the first major facelift to the Spitfire. The front bumper was raised in response to new crash regulations. Although much of the bonnet pressing was carried over, the front end looked quite different. The rear lost the overriders from the bumper but gained reversing lights as standard (initially as two separate lights on either side of the number plate, latterly as a single light in a new unit above the number plate). The interior was improved further with a wood-veneer instrument surround. A folding hood replaced the earlier build it yourself arrangement.
* The Mark3 Spitfire was powered by a Triumph 4 cylinder in line OHV engine of 1,296cc with twin-carburettor giving 75 bhp. Same engine was fitted in the new Triumph Herald 13/60 and Triumph 1300 saloons.
* Model comes with all its original packaging and information cards.
* Model has been on display in a glass fronted cabinet. Cardboard packaging and cards were carefully stored, separately, away from light and damp.
