Diecast Model - Lancia D50 F1 1954/55 - Collectable 1:43

Pre-owned 1:43 scale model of the fast but fragile Lancia D50 designed to challenge for the F1 World Championship of the mid-1950s. Issued as part of Lancia Story Collection, it is being sold from my personal model collection.

* Delayed, fast but fragile was the story of Lancia’s F1 challenger for 1954 and 1955. Much was expected with the double World Champion, Alberto Ascari the lead driver. After Lancia withdrew from racing late in 1955, Ferrari obtained the cars. They won the 1956 World Championship with Fangio using an updated car now, referred to by some as a Lancia Ferrari D50.
* The D50 was powered by a Lancia DS50 90° V8 naturally aspirated DOHC engine of 2,488cc with 2 valves per cylinder and 4 Solex ZIL Carburettors giving between 260 @ 8,200 rpm & 285 bhp @ 8,600 rpm.
