Dinky Toys 173 Nash Rambler Station Wagon 2-Tome Blue - Good Repaint by Seller without Box
** GOOD REPAINT VINTAGE DINKY TOYS MODEL WITHOUT ORIGINAL BOX **

* Dinky Toys released No173, Nash Rambler, in May 1958 at a UK price of 3/6. This would be the first in a series of eight well-known American cars to be issued over the following 10 months. It was produced at 1:48 scale in two colour schemes, turquoise with deep red flash and salmon pink and dark blue flash. Initially the model had cast ridged hubs before being updated with bright metal shaped spun hubs. Dinky Toys withdrew the civilian version of the Nash Ramble in 1962.
* Model Features :-
> Clear plastic windows
> Cast ridged hubs and, later, bright metal shaped spun hubs (this model)
> Rubber treaded tyres
> Tin plate base

* Dinky Toys based their model on the 1956/1957 Nash Rambler Station Wagon (also branded as a Hudson Rambler). Then in 1957 the Nash and Hudson names ceased to be used and the car, owned by American Motors Corporation (AMC) became known as a Rambler. Initially in 1956, the Nash Rambler was powered by a Nash L-head (flathead) 6-cylinder in line engine of 3.2 Litres (195.6 cu in) giving about 90 bhp. Later other engine options became available including a V8.
