Diecast Vintage Solido Ferrari 500 TRC - Very Good Original Condition

Being sold from my personal model collection is a pre-owned vintage Solido 100 Serie 1:43 scale diecast model of a Ferrari 500 TRC.

Solido 103 Ferrari 500 TRC 1957 #3 Red Very Good Condition

** GOOD CONDITION MODEL THAT DISPLAYS VERY WELL **

* Model produced from 1958 until 1965. It was available in two shades of red and with a range of racing number, Black on White roundel, from 1 to 9. The model is fitted with sprung suspension, clear plastic windscreen and a driver figure.
* The model is based on the 1956/1957 500 TRC, a slightly improved version of the successful 500 TR of the previous year. To comply with the new FIA C Regulations, the cockpit was widened, doors added, as was a full width windscreen. The wheelbase was lengthened with coil springs fitted front and back. The live axle in the rear was retained rather than using the more modern de Dion tube. Even though the 500 TRC was never raced by the works Ferrari team, one was 7th overall, claiming class victory at the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans. Another 500 TRC claimed a class win at the 1958 Targa Florio.
* The 500 TRC is powered by a Lampredi designed Ferrari Type 500 4-cylinder DOHV engine of 1984cc with 2 Weber Type 40 DCFA3 carburettors giving 190 bhp+ at 7,000 rpm.
