Diecast Vintage Spot-On Austin Healey Sprite Mk3 - Very Good Repaint by Seller/No Box

Being sold from my personal model collection is this pre-owned vintage Spot-On diecast model of a 1964. Austin Healey Sprite Mk3. It is a “ REPAINT ” by the seller.

** VERY GOOD REPAINT VINTAGE SPOT-ON MODEL WITHOUT ORIGINAL BOX **

* Spot-On released No219, Austin Healey Sprite Mk3, in 1964. Produced, like all Spot-on models, at 1:42 scale, the Sprite was available in red or blue with a seated driver figure. Spot-On withdrew the Sprite from the range in 1967.
* Spot-On were produced in Belfast, Northern Ireland by Tri-ang.
* Model Features :-
> Clear plastic windscreen
> Detailed plastic interior
> Seated driver figure
> Chrome bumpers, chrome grille, chrome headlights
> 4-wheel suspension
> Turned aluminium wheels with raised “hub cap”, fitted with treaded rubber tyres
> Grey painted cast base with simple detailing

* The Mark III Sprite was produced from 1964 until 1966. The Sprite was still powered by the BMC “A” Series 4-cylinder inline OHV engine of 1,098cc but, following several engine modifications, power output was raised to 59 bhp at 5750 rpm. The trim level and seating comfort were also improved, and the windscreen was fitted with hinged quarterlights. Other improvements included wind-up side window and exterior door handles with separate door locks. The suspension was changed from quarter-elliptic to semi-elliptic leaf springs, giving a more comfortable ride for a very small weight penalty.

* Model has been spray repainted by seller.
* After-market replacement chrome radiator, bumpers and lights fitted.
* After-market replacement windscreen fitted.
* After-market replacement driver figure fitted.
