* Triumph updated their TR3 in 1957. The most visible change was a full width radiator grille. Other changes included exterior door handles, lockable boot handle and a full tool kit as standard (only an option on earlier car). The facelifted model was commonly referred to as the Triumph TR3A. However, the cars were not officially called or badged as such. The TR3A continued to be fitted with disc brakes and be powered by a Standard Triumph 4 cylinder in line OHV engine of 1,991cc with twin SU-H6 carburettors giving 95 bhp @ 5,000 rpm. The TR3A was built between 1957 and 1962.
