A genuine 18th-century Irish road map atlas plate, professionally framed to display both sides, giving you two original antique maps in one frame.

Printed circa 1778, this original atlas leaf comes from Taylor & Skinner’s Roads of Ireland, one of the finest surveys of Ireland’s road network produced in the eighteenth century.

Side One (Plate 254):

From Omagh to Enniskillen
Includes, Trillick, Tempo and Enniskillen, with the route passing into County Fermanagh.

Side Two (Plate 263):

From Enniskillen to Belleek (Belleektown) via Pettigo
Shows the roads around Lough Erne, Pettigo, Belleek, and the surrounding border region.

The maps are printed on both sides of the original sheet, exactly as issued in the atlas, making this an authentic 18th-century engraving rather than a later reproduction. Each side is engraved “Terry Sculp.” and retains attractive original hand colouring.

The reversible frame allows either map to be displayed simply by turning it over. It also retains the original Phyllis Arnold Gallery Antiques authenticity label confirming the map is genuine and over 200 years old.
