Description
Candelabra, candlestick. Antique. Bubbled and blown glass. Five lights. Elegant and pure original late 19th early 20th Century.
Beautifully showcases the candles. These might have had faceted clear glass chimneys on each arm to protect and reflect the light.
Excellent condition, except for some *yellowing. Beautiful, understated, timeless piece. Conversation piece!
*Arsenic was used in glass-making before the second world war (pre 1940) and to a lesser extent after that date. When irradiated or exposed to sunlight for a long time, this glass turns yellow. The effect can be seen in the headlamps of very old cars!
