Vintage Inlaid Wooden Jewellery Box with Blue Velvet Lining

Description

Decorative vintage wooden jewellery or keepsake box featuring floral and geometric inlay, fine brass-coloured wire detailing and an ornamental metal clasp.

The interior is lined with deep-blue velvet. The inlaid pieces appear to be pale shell or bone-type material, but their exact composition and the box’s country of origin are unconfirmed.

Shows age-related scratches, marks and wear to the wooden finish. The interior lining is stained and worn, with some separation around the central fold.
