WWII-Era Military Water-Bottle Sterilising Outfit Tin

Description

Vintage military-issue metal tin originally used to hold sterilising and Thio tablets for treating water in field bottles.

The instructions remain printed inside the hinged lid. The tin is empty and does not include the original bottles or tablets.

Shows substantial age-related wear, scratches, tarnishing, paint loss and surface corrosion. Believed to be a mid-20th-century British or Commonwealth military item, although its exact date and origin are unconfirmed.

Sold as a historical collectable or display piece only. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
