• The Legendary "Bulls-Wool" Serge: These are made from the famous, heavyweight, dark navy coarse serge wool. Frontline Dublin Gardaí affectionately nicknamed this stiff fabric "bulls-wool." It was renowned for its incredible durability, weight, and its tendency to become impossibly heavy when soaking wet on the rainy streets of Dublin. This iconic fabric was permanently phased out by the force in 1987, making surviving pieces highly sought after.
• The Royal/State Uniform Tailors: Features the original, intact paper tailoring ticket from the legendary Dublin firm John Ireland & Son. Based on Ellis Quay, this historic firm was the long-standing official tailor for the Irish State and emergency services.
