Nasturtium Black Velvet is a striking and unusual variety, featuring rich, velvety dark red to almost black flowers with a contrasting yellow throat. Growing Information
Sow: March – May outdoors in final position or April indoors for earlier blooms.
Germination: 10–14 days at 15–20°C.
Transplant/Thin: Space plants 25–30cm apart.
Care: Very low maintenance; avoid over-fertilising, as this produces more leaves than flowers. Water in dry spells.
