An interesting vintage Swiss Mirexal Electronic wristwatch from the 1970s, fitted with the ESA Dynotron 9158 electro-mechanical movement.

Unlike modern quartz watches, this movement combines electronic circuitry with a traditional mechanical balance wheel. It represents a fascinating transitional period in Swiss watchmaking history.

The watch features an attractive blue dial, applied hour markers, day/date calendar and a distinctive stainless steel case with matching metal bracelet.

Working condition:

The watch is in very good working order.

Both the day/date calendar and its setting functions operate correctly.

During a seven-day observation, the watch gained approximately one minute in total (around +9 seconds per day).

No adjustment has been attempted, as I am satisfied with its current performance.

Cosmetic condition:

The watch shows visible scratches and signs of age and use, particularly on the case and case back. These have been left as they are, without polishing.
