Vostok Komandirskie

Selling this beautiful vintage Soviet Era Vostok Komandirsky, words cannot describe the rarity of this watch, it comes in a Rare Helicopter Dial depicting the Mi-8 gunship/troop carrier that was the staple helicopter of the then soviet and today's russian and many others military aviation the legendary helicopter has been in production since the 60's all the way until today. complementing this is the lovely and now discontinued 331 case with the crown moved to 2pm for greater hand mobility although Chrome plated the case,crown&bezel retain 100% of their original chrome and the loom on the dial&hands has developed a lovely brown pattina (ofcorse the loom doesn't glow after 40 some years) and the white background has faded into a light cream colour without the signature paint cracking that so often develops on vintage soviet watches, it comes with a jungle strap which i find appropriate for this style of watch. other things of note are that it keeps good time, winds as it should, some scratches on its original crystal. overall a must have for any watch collection as the soviet era komandirskies in this good of a shape are practically hen's teeth.
