An antique Parian-bisque jug with moulded oak leaves & acrons pattern (c.1870)

For sale is an antique jug of parian-bisque ware. The outside and handle is in bisque and the inside has a gloss/vitreous glaze. This jug is about 10" (254mm) in height.

The outside has a relief pattern of finely moulded oak leaf sprigs with acorns ending in the handle, which itself is moulded as an oak branch.

There is a British registration diamond mark moulded onto the underside that records the date the design of this jug was registered with the Patents Office, being 18th February 1868.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 10" high (254mm).
Material(s): white parian ware.
Finish: bisque on the outer surface & handle with a gloss glaze on the inside.
Imprint: no maker's mark, but may be a mould number? There is also a diamond registration mark dated 18th February 1868.
Weight (excluding transit packaging): about 1.15 kg
Approximate age: 1868 to 1870's.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage, no cracks, no chips & no crazing. There appears to be a small rust-like stain on the foot and some discolouration over an area of the bisque surface on one side but this area of discolouration appears to be in the glaze.
