For sale is a finely-made souvenir mug from Berlin, Germany. This mug carries the walking man 'Ampelmann' green traffic light symbol, a cultural iconic symbol of Berlin going back to the East Germany days before reunification. The mug's design also shows other cultural assets of Berlin. This mug is in excellent unused condition and still has its original label on the base.

Ampelmann GmbH is primarily a design company who designs and arranges the productions of their own products. The company was established in 1996 by Markus Heckhausen.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 3 13/16” high x 3 1/4” O.D. (97mm x 82mm) excluding the handle.
Material(s): bone china.
Finish: screen printed in 2 colours over a clear glaze.
Imprint: none, but still got its original sticker.
Approximate age: late 1990s to c.2010.
