For sale is an official merchandise / souvenir ceramic mug commemorating the soccer FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) World Cup of 1998 and hosted by France in that year. France beat defending champions Brazil 3–0 in the final to win their first FIFA World Cup title.

The mug's design features the France 98 World Cup logo, the FIFA emblem, a list of FIFA World Cup winners since the first contest in 1930 and the FIFA 1998 World Cup mascot 'Footix'. The Footix cockerel mascot was designed by ISL France in 1995 and appears on nearly all official merchandise associated with the 1998 World Cup.

Size: about 3 9/16” high x 3 1/8” O.D. excluding handle (90mm x 80mm).
Material(s): white earthenware.
Finish: screen printed in 4 colours over a clear vitreous glaze.
Imprint: STAFFORDSHIRE TABLEWARE MADE IN ENGLAND
Approximate age: c.1998

CONDITION:
In used but very good condition. No damage. There are some light spoon (metallic) marks on the inside.
