For sale is a junior membership badge of the BUTLIN BEAVERS CLUB that was run by the Redcoat entertainers at Butlin's holiday camps.

The Butlin Beaver Clubs were established in 1951 and catered for young children aged from 3 to 8 year of age. The club’s slogan was "Be as eager as a Beaver", hence the club’s name.

When children enrolled in their Beaver Club, they were given a membership badge, a club booklet with the codes and rules, and were looked after by their Honourary Aunty and Uncle Redcoats, who also provided the children's entertainment. The Beaver Clubs ended in 1968.

The Beaver Clubs issued membership badges from 1963 until their final year in 1968. The same design of badge was in use with all the Butlin's holiday camps in any given year.

Older children aged from 9 to 13 would have joined the '913 Clubs' and for those aged from 14 to 15 years, there was the '15 Club'. The 913 Clubs and the 15 Clubs also issued their own badges with different designs. The Redcoats also looked after their members and provided entertainment for these clubs as well..
