TEDDY TAIL LEAGUE (Daily Mail newspaper) - a vintage children's club membership badge (around mid-1930s)

Postage is extra.

.
The Teddy Tail League children's club was established by the Daily Mail newspaper in 1934 and ran until 1942. This badge would have formed part of the membership pack, received on joining the club. There are two holes made as part of this badge along the lower edge but I have yet to see any of these with an attached dangler or bar.

The badge features the mouse character, Teddy Tail, who along with other characters formed the Teddy Tail League comic strip which was first published by the Daily Mail from 1915. Publishing of the Teddy Tail League was suspended in 1942 due to paper shortages but revived in 1949 and the club continued until 1962.
