For sale is a vintage membership badge of the Ship Model Society. If anyone has any information about this society, I'd be grateful to hear from you.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 15/16" x 1" (24mm x 25mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 1 enamel.
Finish: tin wash.
Fitting: buttonhole (horseshoe shaped clasp).
Imprint: none, but possibly made by Fattorini & Sons Ltd of Birmingham as they made earlier versions of the same badge.
Approximate age: mid to late 1950s.

CONDITION:
Good condition. No damage. Tin wash worn over the higher relief areas.
