For sale is a scarce souvenir/merchandise badge depicting the Mayflower II sailing ship. The text reads PLIMOTH PLANTATION MAYFLOWER II. This type of badge would originally have been sold to visitors at the Pilgrim's Mayflower II replica ship.

The Mayflower II is a faithful full-scale replica of the original Mayflower that brought the Pilgrim settlers from England to America in 1620 to form the Plimoth Colony. This was the first permanent English colony in New England and the third permanent English colony in America, after the Newfoundland and Jamestown Colonies.

The Mayflower II replica was built in Devon, England from 1955 to 1957 fully using traditional materials and methods. The only modern features being for health and safety reasons, such as using staircases instead of ladders and electric lighting. Her maiden voyage from Plymouth in England took place from 20th April 1957 and arriving in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA on the 13th June 1957. Between 2014 and 2020 the ship underwent a major restoration and returned to her mooring place in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The project to build the Mayflower II was undertook "to honor the alliance of friendship forged between the United States and United Kingdom during World War II" and financed entirely with private money. Today, the Mayflower II remains a major public attraction and since 2020 has been listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.
