For sale is a button badge issued to promote THE KIDS FROM FAME British tour of live concerts that took place from December 1982 to January 1983.

Fame was an American television series originally produced from January 1982 to May 1987 and followed the lives of the students and their faculty at the fictitious New York City High School for the Performing Arts. Although a moderate hit with American viewers, the success of Fame across the UK and Ireland took the cast of Fame by surprise and many of the songs they performed became chart hits with their British, as well as Irish fans. Their concert tours across Britain were a sell out and came back later in 1983 to do a second British tour. Incidentally, The Kids from Fame are planning a special 40th anniversary reunion tour of Britain during 2022.

Size: about 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" (31mm x 31mm).
Material(s): steel body with printed paper insert .
Finish: insert printed flexography in 3 colours & laminated Reverse side with a tin wash (very thin coating).
Fittings: D-pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1982 / 1983.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Some wear to the tin wash. Small rust marks on the reverse side.
