Vintage weaving spools converted into a jump rope or other type of skill toy.
These wooden pieces were originally old spools used in cotton mills or textile factories to wind thread. They often have metal fittings on the ends to prevent abrasion of the wood during operation.
Very often, after their industrial lifespan ended, these spools were used to create toys such as jump ropes (where the spools serve as handles) or spinning tops ("whip and top").
