1974 Tissot Seastar - Serviced

For sale is a lovely vintage Tissot Seastar Automatic, featuring a classic 1970s cushion-style case and powered by the Tissot calibre 2481 automatic movement.
The watch has been freshly serviced and is running very well. As shown on the timegrapher, it is performing strongly at approximately 0 sec/day with 280° amplitude and 0.2 ms beat error at the time photographed – excellent figures for a vintage piece.

The silver dial has applied gold-tone baton markers, matching hands and a framed date window at 3 o'clock. The gold-tone cushion case has plenty of vintage character, with age-related marks and scratches visible throughout, but presents very nicely on the wrist. The stainless-steel caseback is marked 7-44901.

It is fitted with a brown leather strap and gold-tone buckle, which suits the watch particularly well.

A really attractive vintage Tissot with a great 1970s look. The cushion case gives it plenty of wrist presence while still retaining the proportions and character of a proper vintage watch.
