Vintage Roy Rogers Animated Swiss Watch 1950 Western Collectible Serviced & Running

A charming and highly collectible vintage Roy Rogers character watch from the 1950, made by Muros Watch Factory, Switzerland.
Roy Rogers was one of the most famous American western stars of the twentieth century, often referred to as the "King of the Cowboys". During the 1940s and 1950s he became a cultural icon through movies, television shows, comic books and merchandise, making Roy Rogers watches among the most recognizable children's collectibles of the era.
This particular watch features the original Roy Rogers portrait dial together with its famous animated revolver seconds hand, which continuously jumps up and down while the watch is running.
Unlike many surviving examples, the watch has been carefully serviced and is currently running strongly and accurately. The animation feature operates correctly, bringing the dial to life exactly as intended over seventy years ago.
