Fabulous Ceramic and Wood "TWO" Vase by the Danish Design Company Kristina Dam Studio, Copenhagen, Excellent Condition, Monochromatic Scandi Minimalism at its Best

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.
I’m trying to minimize the pain by reducing the amount of packing required to be done!

I’ve quite a few eclectic items of décor which I am currently displaying, and using and they bring me joy, but as everything has to go back into storage again, some things needs to go!!!
Latest on the chopping block are some random mid-century and later small ceramics pieces.

For Sale here is a Fabulous Ceramic and Wood “TWO” Vase by the Danish Design Company Kristina Dam Studio, Copenhagen, Excellent Condition, Monochromatic Scandi Minimalism at its Best

This vase is a wonderful example of simple unfussy subtle Nordic/Scandi design, where the materials do all the talking. Monochrome in colour, and with the addition of a wooden base and simple shaping, this ceramic and wooden vase is just stunning in its simplicity.

A forerunner to the Dual Vase series, this “TWO” vase is extremely rare and I cannot find the same online anymore. Although the later Dual series is also discontinued, a few remain for sale and are priced at over €100 each. See the last few photos

The vase is cylindrical in form , and made up of two rounded-end sections, inverted and joined together. The bottom section is in a solid block of warm red wood, and the taller ceramic section is in a cream coloured glaze. It still has the original “KD two” logoed sticker, as photographed.

The vase is tall, standing a full 12 inches/ 30 cm tall. The diameter of the cylinder section is 3 inches/ 8 cm. It is in very good condition, but does have some age related crazing, which doesn’t affect the look or functionality.

Sophisticated, and aesthetically beautiful, this vase will easily to fit into any contemporary space or home.
