Fabulous Pair of Vintage Retro Arklow Pottery Tall Coffee Pots, No Lids, but Will Include One Damaged Lid - Perfect for High Display, or to Hold Flowers as Photographed

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.
I’m trying to minimize the pain by reducing the amount of packing required to be done!

I’m only keeping my collection of J&G Studio Meakin Coffee Pots, so the rest of my collection is up for grabs!

For Sale here is a Fabulous Pair of Vintage Retro Arklow Pottery Tall Coffee Pots, No Lids, but Will Include One Damaged Lid - Perfect for High Display, or to Hold Flowers as Photographed

These very stylish coffee pots were produced by Arklow in two sizes, (1973-1976) Tall and Really Tall!

They were decorated in many different patterns, including many Studio Kraft 1970’s patterns, Blue Ming, Lough Derg (yellow and blue) Swan Lake and Tree of Life. They were also produced in a number of plain colours as with the two examples here.

One is a lovely chocolate brown and one is a cobalt blue. The interiors are specked cream, as were the original lids. Both are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but the lids are missing. I will include one lid with damage which is suitable for use with either pot as it is speckled cream so matches either.

This is the taller style of Arklow Coffee pot. They stand a full 12 inches/ 30 cm tall including the lid and a little less without. They are 10 cm in diameter and they measure 17 cm from handle to spout.

Selling and priced as a pair, without lids, but will include the one damaged lid.

They look fabulous with fresh flowers or eucalyptus leaves as photographed here.

They don’t come up that often in the taller size.

I will also have two Celtic Kilrush Connemara Teapots in the two matching colours available shortly. I have always displayed all four together, but have separated them for sale.
