For sale is a beautifully proportioned classic style teapot by the pottery company of Price & Kensington (1962-2003). Price & Kensington Potteries Ltd of Stoke-on-Trent were a quality pottery company renowned for their ranges of ceramic teapots, both classic style and novelty types. The company went into administration in 2003 and were bought over to become part of the Rayware Group, after which their pottery wares were produced in Asia.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 5 1/2" height (including the lid) x 5 1/2” O.D. excluding the handle & spout (140mm x 140mm).
Material(s): white earthenware.
Finish: an overall black ground glaze inside & outside.
Imprint: PRICE & KENSINGTON moulded in high-relief onto the base.
Approximate age: this style of teapot was made by Price & Kensington at their works in Longton from the 1960s right up to around 2003.
Capacity: 6-cups (1.1 ltr).

Excellent clean condition, both inside and out. No damage.
