Vintage MASON'S Patent Ironstone China 50 oz Pitcher with Rope Edge in the Red & White VISTA Pattern

A fabulous Christmas Present for the Mason's Collector! This is a fabulous very large Mason's Patent Ironstone China Pitcher that is part of my Red & White (Pink and White) Transferware Collection that I no longer have enough room for.
It is rare to find such a large pitcher in this pattern with this older backstamp and thus would be a wonderful addition to a Masons Vista collection. The only example I can find for sale online is $199 plus shipping.

The Vista Pattern features a country scene with a castle like building in a clearing surrounded by trees. There are people on a terrace in the foreground and and a roman type ruin on the left hand side.
The scene is on both sides of the pitcher, which is further enhanced by a garland of vine leaves around the upper portion of it. The leaves are also a feature of the handle and there is a relief rope edge on the rim of the Pitcher.

This example features the following on the backstamp: Mason's" arched over a Red crown on a tablecloth banner with the words "Patent Ironstone China" followed by "Vista England." This mark was used by Mason's around the 1930s according to my research.

This Pitcher stands 6.75 inches/ 17 cm tall and holds 50 ozs/ 1.5 litres. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips crazing or pattern loss, as good as the day it was made.

I have only used it for display on my kitchen dresser, and to serve water a few times.
