Solido 143 Panhard 24 BT Blue - Good Original Condition
** VINTAGE ORIGINAL SOLIDO 100 SERIE “HAUTE FIDELITE” MODEL WITHOUT ORIGINAL BOX **

* Model produced from 1966 until 1968 in a variety of colours.
* In the mid-1960s Solido introduced "Haute Fidelite" models to their expanding 100 Serie. The Panhard 24 BT was one of the first to be included. These models raised the quality and detail to rival the top European brands
* Produced between 1964 and 1967, the Panhard 24 can be seen as the swan song of Panhard automobile production. The Panhard 24 was a compact two door 2+2 coupé with a strikingly modern body, powered by a front mounted air cooled two-cylinder boxer engine of 848cc, which dated back to the late 1940s. The car featured a low modern body line with a prominent waist level groove. At a time when monocoque construction was becoming mainstream, the 24 sat on a separate and very strong tubular steel chassis.
* At launch in 1964 two versions were offered, the 24 C and the 24 CT. The C was basic with a 50bhp engine. The CT was more luxurious with a more powerful 60 bhp engine and proved more popular. A longer chassis, additional 260mm, was introduced as an alternative option from 1965. With the same finish options as the C, these were called 24 B and 24 BT. They were described as 4 seaters rather than 2+2.
