For sale are two small enamelled plain-back plaques (no pin). One for HULL and the other for BURTON-ON-THE-WATER (Cotswold area in Gloucestershire). Such plaques were produced for affixing to various objects sold as holiday or tourist memento souvenirs.

DESCRIPTION:
Size (Burton plaque): about 7/8" wide (22mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 3 vitreous enamels.
Finish: gilt.
Fitting: n/a -plain back.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1920's to 1950's.

CONDITION:
Good condition. No damage. The missing area of red enamel on the Hull badge is a manufacturing imperfection. There is adhesive on the reverse side of the Burton-on-the-Water plaque only.
