For sale is a pin badge issued by the German embassy to commemorate Germany's term to hold the Presidency of the Council of Europe during the first six months of 2007.

EU Presidency six-month terms are rotated amongst the EU's 27 Member States. During the six-months, the presidency chairs meetings at every level in the Council, helping to ensure the continuity of the EU's work in the Council.

Size: about 20mm diameter (25/32").
Material(s): brushed steel with a printed insert (printed in 4 colours).
Finish: printed insert sealed onto badge body under a clear plastic layer.

Approximate age: early 2007.
