For sale is an enamelled membership badge of the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF WOMEN OF GREAT BRITIAN (NCWGB). This badge displays the logo of the NCWGB that is still in use with them

The NCWGB was established in 1895 and continue to be an advocacy organisation for women "to ensure that women play a full role in our society". In 1928 the organisation split into its tow current forms, one for Britain and the other for Ireland.

Size: about 1 1/32" diameter (26mm).
Material(s): diecast metal alloy with 5 vitreous enamels.
Finish: bright gilt plating.
Fitting: rollbar pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: 1970's to early 1990's.

Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order.
