Fabulous Vintage Arklow Pottery Blue and White 9 Inch Wall Plate in an Classic Style Landscape Pattern with a Country Scene

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.

I’m downsizing my Arklow Pottery collection next, and only plan on keeping a couple of patterns. I have a number of Blue and white, Teal and White and Pink and White wall plates that I was keeping for a wall display, but as I no longer have a suitable wall in our new house they are now surplus to requirements.

I am listing separately, but they would work well together as part of an Arklow Pottery wall display or on a county kitchen dresser.

For sale here is a Fabulous Vintage Arklow Pottery Blue and White 9” Wall Plate in an Classic Style Landscape Pattern with a Country Scene

This a very unusual and possibly rare Arklow pattern featuring a country landscape scene with a cottage and outhouse with a river and road winding past and a horse and owner about to cross a ford, with trees and a dramatic sky and a fence and flowers in the foreground. The backstamp dates it to the 1960’s.

It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks or pattern loss but a small amount of crazing as photographed. Check the photos for the condition and the respective backstamp.

The Plate measures 9 inches/ 23cm in diameter.
