Vintage Blue and White Transferware Set of Six Espresso/Demi-Tasse Duos by English Ironstone Tableware

........ and now I'm moving on to my Blue and White Transferware collection and my Willow Pattern collection.

For sale here, is blue and white vintage set of six demi-tasse or espresso duos in a pretty pattern featuring a small floral repeat pattern. The set is made by English Ironstone Tableware (EIT), who were based in Staffordshire, England.

This set consists of six demi-tasse or espresso sized cups, and six saucers. The saucers are 4.5 inches/ 12cm in diameter. The cups are 2.75 inches/6.5 cm in diameter and 2 inches/5 cm tall. I have included a photo of one duo pictured with a regular sized teacup and saucer, for scale purposed.

The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, discolouration or pattern loss. One saucer has a manufacturing fault as photographed, but this is mostly hidden when the cup is in place and doesn’t affect the usability of the set.

Perfect as part of a vintage retro inspired afternoon coffee, wedding buffet or display. Would also work well in a vintage style coffee shop. A great item to start a blue and white collection, or to add to an existing collection.
