Description:
The discovery of this dinosaur proved to be particularly rich and special, as in addition to the skeletons of three individuals, one of them quite complete, in 1993 a nest with more than one hundred eggs was also identified.
This collector's coin, designed by the specialist in scientific illustration Joana Bruno, emphasizes the eggs of Lourinhanosaurus antunesi.
On the obverse, we see the skeleton of an embryo, using the outline of the coin as if it were the shell of an egg; on the reverse, we see a newborn baby dinosaur, observing its surroundings.
