For sale is a very scarce enamel badge issued to be worn by Exhibitors attending the 1955 SHOE AND LEATHER FAIR. These were annual fairs during the 1950's to showcase British leather footwear as well as other leather goods such as handbags, suitcases and other luxury items.

Size: about 1 1/8" x 1" (29mm x 25mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: tin plated
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: W. O. LEWIS (BADGES) LTD B'HAM 19 - NOT TRANSFERABLE
Approximate age: 1955

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Some ear to the tin plating commensurate with wear and age.
