For sale is a finely-made enamel badge issued for the Scottish town of Kirkhill, Inverness. This badge is dated 27th May 1938 and if anyone knows the significance of this date for Kirkhill, please let me know.

Size: about 23/32" x 15/16" (18mm x 24mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: gilt.
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: W. L. THOMSON GLASGOW & EDINBURGH hand-stamped into reverse side.
Approximate age: 1938

Condition:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Badge actually looks better than in the photos.
