For sale are a group of four Women Organisations badges from different Christian denominations (from top-left clockwise).
1) WOMEN'S NETWORK IN THE METHODIST CHURCH was formed in 1987 from the amalgamation of two organisations within the church: the Women’s Work and the Women’s Fellowship. The aims of the Women's Network are "to encourage, enable and equip women to participate fully in the life of the Church and in society". Badge of diecast metal alloy with 1 enamel and gilt plated. Late 1980s.

2) PRESIDENT E.F.C.W.C. 1966/67 (Eastbourne Free Church Women's Council 1966/1967 President). The EFCWC was a Women’s Council of Free Churches operating in the East Sussex area established in 1966 and was registered as a charity. Free Churches within the UK are those outside the Anglican faith such as Presbyterian, Baptists, The Brethern, Methodists, Evangelical, Quakers, etc. The aims of the EFCWC was “to unite women of churches of every denomination in spiritual and social service”. The EFCWC also ran a care home for elderly members of Free Churches. The EFCWC ceased to operate in 2018. Badge of brass metal with 1 enamel and tin plated. 1966

3) MOTHER’S UNION (MU) was established in 1876 and today is a worldwide Christian organisation within the Anglican churches, operating as a Lay movement open to all church members. The original aim of the MU was to assist mothers bringing up their children in prayer and the Anglican faith with the emphasis on marriage and Christian family life. Today, the MU is also active in lobbying for social issues relating to family life and the welfare of children. Badge of brass metal with 2 enamels and gilt plated. 1950s to 1960s.

4) WFMW (World Federation of Methodist Women) was established in 1929 to form a world-wide Methodist organisation for women who'd make a difference in the Church and society, their motto remains "To know Christ and to make Him known". In 1948, the WFMW became affiliated with the World Methodist Council and in 1996 they changed their name to the ‘World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women'. The image on this badge represents the 'Tree of Life' along with the organisation's initials. badge of brass metal with 2 enamels and tin plated. Late 1960s to early 1980s.
