For sale is a humorous enamel badge which was issued as a parody of the famous Double Diamond beer advertising slogan "I'm only here for the beer (It's Double Diamond)". That slogan was penned by Ros Levenstein in 1971 and helped provide a significant boost the brewer's sales, Ind Coope & Allsop's Brewery.

Size: about 1" diameter (26mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 1 vitreous enamel.
Finish: tin plated.
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: c.1972 to c.1975

CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order.
