OWL No 01 One-of-a-Kind Mechanical Watch Custom Dial Sea-Gull ST3600

A little piece of watchmaking history, given a second life.

OWL No. 01 is the first watch in my personally designed Owl series. It is an individual, custom-built mechanical watch combining new components with original parts recovered from a vintage watch movement approximately 60 years old.

The dial features my own Owl emblem, with its distinctive pink eyes made from genuine ruby watch jewels recovered from that vintage movement.

The decorative composition on the dial is made from original vintage watch gears, carefully arranged and permanently fixed in place. These gears are decorative rather than moving parts of the working mechanism. Even the small metallic detail beside the OWL logo is a fragment of an original watch hand recovered from the same vintage timepiece.

Inside is a brand-new Sea-Gull ST3600 hand-wound mechanical movement, a Chinese movement based on the classic ETA/Unitas 6497 design, with 17 jewels and a small seconds display at 9 o'clock.

The movement is visible through the transparent case back, revealing its decorated bridges, blue screws and mechanical construction.

Condition:

The watch is in excellent condition, with a new case, movement and strap.

The mechanical movement runs beautifully and keeps excellent time.

This is an openly described custom-built watch, not a factory-produced model. Only one example of this particular design was made.
