For sale is this scarce badge of the International Bible Reading Association (IBRA). The IBRA were established in 1882 by the National Sunday School Union (NSSU) and are dedicated to the promotion and funding of bible reading in developing countries, including the UK. The IBRA are still active and publish a large range of bible study notes, of which most are translated and printed locally to support indigenous employment. The work of the IBRA is funded mainly through their International Fund that is sponsored mostly by donations and legacy gifts.
