.
For sale is a rare Judge's enamelled medal issued by the RICHMOND & DISTRICT MASTER BAKERS & CONFECTIONERS ASSOCATION. This medal is inscribed to it recipient "S. BAMFORD 1932". The medal was made by A.C. Bloxham Ltd of London and shows the municipal coat-of-arms of Richmond (Surrey). This coat-of-arms was in use with the Borough of Richmond from June 1891 until 1965.

The National Association of Master Bakers & Confectioners (also known as the National Association or the N.A.) was established by Thomas Fletcher in 1887 to further the interests of individual bakeries. In 2013, the NAMBC changed their name to the Craft Bakers Association, representing 536 members (as at 2015) as well as 2,000 shops throughout the UK. Members can benefit from practical advice, discounts and training. The N.A. also organised craft bakery competitions and this medal would have been issued to one of their judges.
