1950s Tissot

For sale is my stunning vintage Tissot from the 1950s. Measuring 37mm in diameter, this oversized design was notably large for its time, giving it a standout presence on the wrist.


The watch shows some markings consistent with its age, but overall remains in great condition. The cream dial has developed a lovely even patina, complemented by gold-plated hands and markers, a sweeping seconds hand, and an outer seconds track for added detail.


The slim yet substantial case features elegant lugs and a steel back stamped with reference 6438-4 and the Tissot hallmark.

Powering the watch is a Tissot 16-jewel movement, believed to be the 27B-2 calibre, which is running well and keeping good time. It is a manual wind movement with a power reserve of 40 hours.


It comes with a broen leather strap in good condition, ready to wear.
