Buren Intramatic

This is one of my favorite watches in the collection. But its no longer getting the wrist time it deserves so reluctantly moving on. Not accepting offers.

For sale is this absolutely beautiful vintage Buren Intramatic automatic, a wonderfully elegant Swiss-made dress watch, believed to date from the 1950/60s.

Buren was a respected Swiss watchmaker, particularly renowned for its innovative automatic movements and ultra-thin watch designs. The Intramatic range is a lovely example of the understated elegance of vintage Swiss watchmaking.

This particular example features a gorgeous silver sunburst dial with fine crosshair detailing, applied gold baton hour markers and matching gold hands. The minimalist design, combined with the remarkably slim gold-tone case, gives it a timeless appearance.

The watch presents beautifully for its age, with a particularly attractive original dial and lovely vintage character. There is some expected age-related wear to the gold-tone case, as shown in the photographs.

The movement is running extremely well and has been tested on a timegrapher, showing an impressive -4 seconds per day, with an amplitude of 232° and 0.0ms beat error at the time of testing.

The slim profile makes this an exceptionally comfortable watch to wear, particularly for anyone who appreciates classic vintage dress watches.

A fantastic example of traditional Swiss watchmaking from a historic manufacturer, offering genuine vintage charm and an elegant design that wouldn't look out of place alongside far more expensive dress watches.
